Welcome To

Moss Side Fire Station Boxing

Moss Side Fire Station Boxing Club was set up in 2008 by 3 operational firefighters who wanted to engage with the local community to raise aspirations and give them positive futures. Nigel Travis has continued to give his time to drive the club forward and enable the gym to continue as it does.

We are a boxing club run by local fire fighters and GMCFRS volunteers who give their own personal time and skills to help the community of the Moss Side and surrounding areas. Our commitment is to: “help develop the personal attributes of the young individuals within the community we serve to reflect the qualities and attributes we value as fire fighters. We aim to act as role models and mentors to help mould our members to be role models to the wider community.”

Moss Side Fire Station Boxing Club is a registered charity (Registered Charity 1181405)

Your kind donations will bring in new boxing equipment, which included gloves, hand wraps, mouth gaurds, and even equipment for trainers to help mold our community into champions.

Just had an inspiring evening at Moss Side Fire Station Boxing Club.

Witnessed incredible work firsthand, spoke with club members, and even got some boxing tips from the coaches!

Big thanks to Nigel Travis and all the volunteer coaches for their impactful community work. 🥊
